The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed with regards to the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The support issue developed for intervention experiences a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency website said.
